Area 8 Leek Auto Extravaganza on Sunday 19th May

I have booked a club space for us at the Leek Auto Extravaganza on Sunday 19th May. It takes place at Heakley Hall Farm, Norton Green, Stoke-on-Trent. ST6 8PW.

We will be having a stand at the Gawsworth Hall Youngtimer Show for post-1970 cars, this year it will be on  Bank Holiday Monday 27 May. The Show starts at 10am, but entrants may arrive and depart at any time during the day from 9am onwards, cost £5 per person, (public entry is £10pp)

All entrants must pre-book. The best way to do this is to phone Gawsworth Hall on 01260 223456, giving them your address, vehicle and card details for payment, they will then post out tickets to you. South East Area News - Phyllis Tuckwell Motor Show

We have decided to make a return visit to the Phyllis Tuckwell Motor Show on Sunday 11th August 2024 at Churt, in Surrey. Near to the Hindhead Tunnel on the A3. 

This is a charity show raising funds for the hospice, taking place in the grounds of a private classic car collection. If you did not attend the show last year then you missed out on a fantastic collection of over 60 pristine classic cars ranging from 1903 to the present day, including the fastest car in the world, plus over 100 petrol pumps and thousands of pieces of memorabilia owned by Robert & Tanya Lewis.  

It costs £25 per car to attend which is going to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

The show sold out last year so early booking is advised.

Isle of Man British Classic or Sports cars Festival of Motoring

The above Festival of Motoring is proving very popular with Panther Members and I am pleased to say there is an

EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT = £60.00, per car, discount applies to all bookings made by 30.04.2024, with a 20% deposit and guarantee the price quoted in 2024 will be honoured with no price increase.

The link below will take you to the booking form allowing you to book direct I have spoken with the organisers and asked them to recommend which hotel offers the best facilities and parking and easy access to everything and they recommended the The  Comis Hotel & Golf Resort, with good facilities . Due to the distance to travel I felt that to make it a 5 night stop over gives us time to relax and enjoy what’s on offer on the Island. The festival of Food and Drink is also on at this same time so an added attraction for us all to enjoy. Should you wish to adjust the time on the Island this can be arranged direct. Or even if you wish to stay at a different hotel that is an option but it would be great if we could all stay together and have a fun few days.
