Panther Kallista 2.9i.
Registered  24th February 1989, this is the 5th 2.9i produced, and is being sold by the original owner and sole driver. She has covered 98,840 miles and is taxed until June 2015 with an MOT certificate until July 12th 2015. Stainless steel exhaust by P D Gough. In January 2007 she was treated to a full interior re-trim  by Bruno Eismark, to his usual high and exacting standards. The sale includes a full service history. Sadly ill health forces this sale of a much loved car. Well known to Panther owners over the last 25 years as 116 NKP the time has come for this well driven car to find a new and caring home.

Its is first registrated in dec. 1977 regarding to the documents I have but it does not say where. It came to Sweden late 2002 and I bought it 2006. The chassi plate has no name registrated. As I understand it has an emission engine with Stromberg carburetters.
The milage is 9.100 Km. Sweden.

1989 Panther Kallista 1.6, finished in special order Porsche Guards Red with black leather interior and black weather gear piped red.  Panther Kallistas are a rare beast and are a stylish, fun, inexpensive alternative to mainstream British sports cars. This immaculate Panther has only covered 17,000 (seventeen thousand) miles since new and has a documented service history confirming this. It is fitted with a Ford XR3 1.6 litre engine with a single carburettor and a five speed gearbox and runs on unleaded petrol. The car comes with a radio cassette player, a remote alarm, spot lights, a badge bar, hood tonneau and chrome wire wheel trims. It has only had three owners since new with two of those owning it since 1992. In immaculate, unworn condition throughout, this fine Kallista appears to have its original paintwork and the interior shows no signs of wear. The Dealer pack and service record are present as are two sets of keys and the tool kit. One of the nicest examples remaining.......

Kallista 2.9i
1989, 11,900 miles, 11 months MOT, 5 months tax,in good condition for it's year, with some minoroxidation to paintwork in a couple of places. Superficial rust underneath but sound, hood in good condition, new stainless steel back box and pipes. I have the original alloy wheels (as well as ones shown) which could do with blasting and recoating. This car has been in the family for over 20 years, but is little used, which is a waste.

KALLISTA 1.6 1984   Price £8,000  Sole Lady Owner.
Built at the Brooklands Racing Circuit for me in 1984 following a visit to the factory to see how Panther cars were produced, I had to wait six months for my car to be ready for me to take delivery,  since that time I have only logged up 37.500 miles as I have always owned other cars.  I was fortunate that one of my staff’s husband was the heraldic artist to Her Majesty the Queen he was delighted to add my initials to the door panels in gold – the process used was the same method as carried out on the Royal Coaches.
The car is red with black seats, facia board and linings, it has always been garaged, well serviced and has never failed a M.O.T test – all the certificates are in my keeping, no one else has driven my car as it has been my pride and joy I am reluctant to sell it but with my advancing years, the lack of opportunity to drive it and four horses to keep I would like to think someone else might have the pleasure and fun of owning my Panther.
I have had new tyres fitted, a new hood this was made by the hood makers who hold the original Panther hood templates.   The seats in the car have been recovered, all of  this work was carried out only because these items became brittle with age, the car has locking wheel nuts, a stainless steel fuel tank and a Blauplunkt radio.

One of the last Panther Limas S2's built. Registered in Nov 1983. I have owned it for 11 years and it has been garaged throughout that time. Only 44.5k miles. Full service history and maintained by a local garage during the period I have owned it. Converted to lead free fuel and almost unused tyres. (in 2012 the car did 90 miles).
Some small signs of flaking around the mirrors and door handles and the odd stone chip otherwise it looks superb externally for what is an original car. Could do with some TLC internally for the ultra fussy.. Hood and Tonneau in excellent condition.
MOT until May 2014.
No pressing reason for sale other than I have had my time with it and I am moving on to something more suitable for my retired circumstances.

Model: 1976 Panther DeVille V12 LHD

An early left hand drive DeVille supplied to the Carriage House in California and subsequently spent many years in Marbella,Spain from where I had it shipped to the UK.

The comprehensive service history of this car in effect rests with me and if you want to buy a DeVille where someone else has spent all the money on the mechanical and electrical restoration then this is the car! From 2003 to 2006 around £60,000 worth of work was carried out on the car by JD Classics who specialise in classic Jaguars and I have 9 pages of very detailed work sheets and invoices to back this up.

The car also comes complete with the original Chronoswiss watch in its presentation box commissioned for the car and with Panther on the watch face and a book of road test reports for Panthers from 1972 to 1990 with full a full report for what looks like the original American road test for this vehicle.

Since 2006 the car has been in the care of the Autostore in Cambridge who have continued to make detailed cosmetic and mechanical improvements to the car at sensible cost and in July 2011 it worked wonderfully and looked even better as my daughters wedding car.

The private number plate is no longer on the vehicle.

This is a DeVille ready to be enjoyed and has had everything mechanical I can think of refurbished.

My lovely car is Cream, with black interior and walnut dash and cappings. Seats recently professionally re-upholstered in black leather with cream piping sets it off. Only 36k miles! MOT till May 2013. Original alloy wheels with 4 tyres only have done about 5k. In very good condition, though obviously not perfect (25 years old) Personalised number plate B9 PAN (Benign (friendly) Panther) also available separately. This stunning Panther De Ville is in Metallic Spice and Bahama Yellow. Opulent Red Velour interior. Modelled on the 1930's Bugatti Royale driven by Al Capone.
Only 46 of these Hardtops were produced by Panther. This Panther De Ville is showing only 10500 miles. The engine is a Jaguar V12.
The Panther De Ville cost up to £100.000 in 1977 making it a contender for one of the World's most expensive cars. These Panthers were made for Shaikh's, pop stars like Elton John, and actors like Oliver Reed.
Made to special order for Shaikh Khalid Al-Qasimi. This Panther De Ville was kept in his Palace in London. This car has an amazing presence.

Here for sale I have my L/H/D 1974 Panther J72 sports which is totally original, it is showing just 18,400 miles which I believe to be genuine, it has never had any paintwork done but some is now due, comes with the spare key. I am the third owner, starting its life in Florida, the owners name being engraved on the Vin plate, Then to a retired doctor in New York State, I bought it from him, and shipped it back to London, it is now taxed and MOTed and I would be happy to drive it to Dover.

Body:
Has you can see, still very presentable but does have some issues, the worst being in the photos, mainly the power bulge on the bonnet and the running boards, I am happy to email any addition photos you may want.

Running gear:
Starts and runs great the overdrive and gearbox work perfectly.

Trim:
The leather is totally original and shows very little wear. Carpets again original and fine, Hood is good, no rips or tears, the side screens and there holding bag, are all in tact, although they do have a crack in one. The full tounou cover (see picture) is in good condition no rips or tears, but it is faded probably due to the Florida sun.

Chrome:
All chrome is original and in very good condition. The car has had a more period looking set of side lights fitted, but the original ones are with the car.

Summery:
It’s hard to cover every part on a car that is 38 years old so viewings are encouraged. It has some good bits and some bad points so I would describe it as original. It is here to be sold.

This is a 1978 S reg Lima thought to be a Series 1 with factory Series 2 upgrades of Dashboard, Bumpers and possibly more.

Panther Kallista  2.8i Brooklands Edition with just 24,00 miles 1987 I am confident to say this is one of the best examples available of this superb car. In Ivory/Gold coachwork with cream leather interior piped with tan and tan coloured wilton carpets. I have spared absolutely no expense in keeping this car in its original condition with a few minor but sensible upgrades such as a Powerflow stainless steel exhaust system with written lifetime guarantee, polybushes, and header tank to improve cooling system. the engine bay is very clean with polished alloy rocker covers and the plenum chamber has been removed and coated in a bright silver to match. It has just sailed through it's MOT test with no advisories whatsoever and drives superbly. i have a large file full of old MOT certificates to warrant the low mileage of just 24,000 miles along with the original order form for the car from Panther Westwinds and the original bill of sale showing the specifications and extras ordered and the price (paid in cash!!). I cannot emphasise how proud and attached i am to this car and she is only for sale due to personal circumstances and this after a great deal of soul searching,however due to business commitments she is not used anywhere near regularly enough and deserves to be in a home where someone can derive the immense amount of pleasure driving a vehicle like this brings and get her out and about for others to see.

David is the 2nd owner of the car since 1992, the car was built in 1989 one of the last production in UK.

This Panther J72 Series 1 Beam Axle. Drives well but is in need of some TLC  it has some cosmetic issues that anyone wanting a pristine J72 will want to address . The black leather seats have faded to grey. The paint shows some cracking and crazing, especially on the right hood and the running boards. The wood grain dash is slightly cracked. I would rate this car a 8 out of 10. An interesting detail of the car is the lights. The owner of the car replaced the front marker and taillights with vintage pieces to make it appear more like an SS100. The original lights will be included with the car.  It's not ready for Pebble Beach but it looks great! There are no mechanical issues with it, it could be driven anywhere. All in all it's a great example of the J72. Recently I’ve personally replaced the spark plugs, changed the oil and filter, cleaned and balanced the carbs, and converted the points to electronic ignition. It fires right up and runs great.
Age of owner forces sale and would like to see it go to a good home.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a real piece of Motoring History, a 1974 Panther J72. Based on the Jaguar SS100 and designed by Robert Jenkel, built by Panther Westwinds Ltd, Weybridge, England. These fine motorcars were produced from 1972-1981, please note this was a Specialist Production Motorcar Company and Coach maker, these are Not Kit Cars.
The J72 was the first product of the Panther Westwinds Company. It was an exclusive luxury roadster, on par with the best of the motorcar industry in its time. It used mechanicals from the Jaguar Car Company, including the reliable and race proven XK engines. The J72 was a success for the newly formed company, and its Motorcars were purchased by the rich and famous, who were hooked on these glamorous cars which oozed charisma and panache. Indeed one of the major coups for the company was beating Rolls-Royce at the 1973 London Motor Show for its Connolly coachwork.
Every Panther built was commissioned by its new owner and all the cars stated on the build plate the name of the person that the car was built for. This beautiful example was built for H. Black (believed to be Senator H. Black of the Carolinas) as the pictures of the build plate show.
This rare exotic motorcar is in very nice unmolested original condition throughout. The bodywork is extremely straight, dry and clean. The paint looks all original and as such has a few paint chips and blemishes but as you can see from the pictures these do not detract from the overall great shape this vehicle is in. The leather and wood are in very good condition. The bottom edge of the wooden dash needs some refurbishment but other then this; it would not be difficult to transform this fine motorcar to a show car. The exhaust, servo master cylinder and various other parts were replaced, the car had a major service prior to being stored. The Jaguar engine runs strong and makes for a very enjoyable driving experience!
The condition of the car reflects the extremely low miles, making this a great addition to your motorcar collection.

Details:   The car has covered 87500 miles, but the engine only around 60000 as I had it modified by Specialised Engines in 1999. The engine was bored out and stroked to 3.1 litres, balanced, and converted to run on unleaded petrol. It also has tubular exhaust manifolds and produces 148 BHP at the wheels which is the equivalent of 195 BHP at the engine (independently measured in 2007). The fuel injection unit has been moved from under the wing to under the bonnet and the back axle ratio has been altered to 3.44 in order that the 5th gear can be used as a normal fifth gear as opposed to an overdrive. It also has very attractive 15inch chrome knock-on wire wheels.

It was first registered in 27.08.1978 and the current keeper has owned it for 10years.
It is in very good condition but there are some blemishes on the paintwork and the red leather seats are showing signs of wear. It has had a new custom built exhausted fitted.
